Build practical life skills, confidence, and greater independence through weekly instruction, discussion, and real-life application.
Confidence and independence are built through learning, practice, and opportunities to apply new skills in everyday life. Empowered Living Foundations is designed to help you strengthen your confidence, solve everyday challenges, and build habits that support the life you want at home and in your community.
Empowered Living Foundations is designed for adults with disabilities who want to build greater independence, strengthen their confidence, and continue learning practical skills for everyday life.
Whether you live on your own or share a home with others, this course is designed to help you build the skills, confidence, and strategies to become more independent in your home and community.
✔️ Want to become more independent in everyday life.
✔️ Are ready to think about your goals and the life you want to build.
✔️ Want to build routines and systems that make daily life easier.
✔️ Want to better understand the "why" behind everyday decisions, not just what to do.
✔️ Want to strengthen your confidence and self-advocacy.
✔️ Enjoy learning through discussion, reflection, and real-life practice.
✔️ Want opportunities to practice what you learn in everyday life.
Throughout the eight weeks, you'll explore meaningful questions that encourage you to reflect, solve problems, and make choices that support the life you want to build.
What kind of life do I want to build?
How do I want to spend my time?
How can routines help me reach my goals?
How can I use my money responsibly?
How do I make thoughtful shopping decisions?
How can I prepare meals that work for me?
How can I create a space that works for me?

Hi, I'm Tracy!
I'm a licensed special education teacher, transition specialist, curriculum developer, and the founder of Empowered Living. For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of supporting teens and adults with disabilities as they build greater independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
I created Empowered Living Foundations to provide practical, engaging instruction that helps adults think through everyday decisions, build routines and systems that work for their lives, and continue growing one skill at a time.
I look forward to helping you discover practical strategies that support the life you want to build.
If you're ready to continue building independence, one skill at a time, I'd love to welcome you to Empowered Living Foundations.
New classes begin several times each year, with class sizes intentionally kept small to encourage discussion, participation, and individualized support.
